To make a purchase simply browse our website and click on any items you wish to buy to add them to your basket. After you have completed your selection, proceed to the checkout where you will be asked for your address and payment details to complete the order. We accept all major types of credit and debit cards.
If you prefer you can always call us on (01773) 853552 and place your order with one of our sales assistants. You can also use the post and pay by cheque or postal order. Cheques should be made payable to A J Fabrics & Crafts.
Note that we do not charge for any item until it is ready to post.
When buying online, the postage and packaging costs will be shown at the checkout. Customers placing orders by telephone will be advised of costs by our sales assistant. Costs are calculated based upon the weight of the goods and the destination of the package.
Orders are accepted from all areas of the United Kingdom and to the international countries as listed on our website. We reserve the right to select the countries from which we accept orders and to review them on a regular basis.
We aim to despatch goods within 24 - 48 hours via Royal Mail Parcelforce. Please bear in mind however that we do not operate on Sundays so delays may occur for orders placed at the weekend.
If any goods are ordered that are out of stock but due to arrive from our wholesaler within a few days we may hold onto your order until they arrive. Where part of the order is out of stock and expected within 21 days we will dispatch the part that is in stock and send the remainder seperately. Where this event happens we will email you before sending any goods and give you the option to decide.
If an order is despatched in more than one part, you will only be charged for postage and packaging once.
We guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not happy with any item, please return it to us within 14 days for a complete refund. Any monies refunded will be made to the account from which they were originated.
Returns Policy - Your Right to Cancel
In accordance with the European Directive on distance selling, you are allowed a cooling off period during which you have the right to cancel your order. The cooling off period ends on the expiry on 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which you recieve your goods. Should you wish to exercise this right, first of all we require you to inform us of your intention to return the goods (please call us or email us so that we may expect the goods back). Then we require you to return the goods by recorded post to ensure their safe delivery. All postage costs for the return are your responsibility. All goods returned to us should be unopened in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
